BIOGRAPHY
Im a scientist, artist and musician living in Canada, observing and acting across spacetime. I produce, arrange and remix snippets and loops, in live lounge settings, crafting strange amalgams of jazz, breaks and hed-nodding grime-funk; setting the tone for mental and physical exploration of the underside of existence. I release free mixes, tracks and remixes on a semi-regular basis over my website, podcasting round the globe and into your ears.

BAND MEMBERS
i use a macbook running ableton live 7 as the basis for my production and live performance. I use a handful of hand-made midi peripherals to compose and trigger loops and textures over existing tracks and audio components. Most prominently, i use a monome 40h as a loop triggering, track routing effects machine, cutting up live audio using beat repeats and phoneme filters. A recent addition is a monome 128, running the amazing molar vst, to loop and rejigger live audio, layering tracks and blending new material. Ive recently added a zendrum zap hand percussion controller, which has allowed me to step into live percussion and melodic instrumentation. Using the live racks, ive built myself a flexible midi routing and transposition system, that lets me define and remap my controllers to fit the key of choice, as well as select from a range of pads, strings, keys and samples. I try to take an improvisational approach, letting random decisions guide the flow and arrangement into something totally else.
